“Mistakes are a part of life, it’s part of being human, but the true scale of our mistakes are rarely put into focus. Today, my team and I made a mistake, one that I fear we may never be able to rectify. I fear this mistake perhaps mean the end of civilization as we know it, and may even bring about the extinction of the human race….

We thought we were gods… manipulating & twisting nature to create…. a virus…. a targeted infection, specifically designed to destroy invasive species. Our intentions were good, but our creation has evolved beyond anything we could have ever imagined. The infection has moved it’s way up the food chain, evolving into larger hosts…. I fear that an evolutionary leap to humans is inevitable. What have we done…”
